Aileen Savage, Reed Newnham honoured with distinction at leading global commercial real estate firm

Edmonton, AB – Cory Wosnack, Avison Young Principal and Managing Director of the firm’s Edmonton office, announced today that Aileen Savage and Reed Newnham have been named Avison Young Principals based in the firm’s Edmonton office.

Avison Young is led by more than 600 Principals across the globe, and each year welcomes a new class of owners in the firm. As a private company, Avison Young Principals have a say in the future direction of the business and are invested in clients’ success, thinking for the long-term.

Aileen Savage has been with the company for nine years and specializes in human resource management, office process and procedures, operational management and keen problem-solving skills.

“Our Edmonton office has grown significantly over the past few years and achieved best-ever financial results for which these outcomes would not have been possible without Aileen’s incredible leadership running our operations. As the dynamics of the business have become more complex, Aileen has always risen to the occasion to ensure we surpassed all of our lofty objectives,” said Wosnack. “Aileen’s empathetic leadership style has been inspiring and she was instrumental in creating our mentorship structure.”

Since joining Avison Young, Aileen has been awarded both the President's Circle of Excellence Award and the Award of Excellence in the Above and Beyond category.

Reed Newnham has been with the company for eight years. His primary business in Capital Markets is focused on the sale of investment properties and development land in the greater Edmonton area. Through the years, he has sold various properties throughout Alberta and the Northwest Territories.

Since 2012, Reed has become an Edmonton market leader who prides himself on completing a high volume of sale transactions. His business practice focuses on all asset classes of income producing properties and development land. Over the past several years, Reed has completed a variety of retail, industrial, office, multi-family and land transactions. He and his team act for local, regional, national, and institutional clients.
