Avison Young provided tenant representation services on the relocation and interior renovation of Covanta’s corporate headquarters from Fairfield, New Jersey to Morristown, New Jersey. The total size of the project was approximately 108,000 sf and included a 5,000 sf Tier 2 global data center, training facility, board room and executive offices. The interior space features both interior & exterior offices, as well as low-height workstations throughout the three “wings” of the large floor plate. A regulation-sized basketball court was also constructed in the parking lot of the building for the executives and employees to enjoy. Through thoughtful design and careful coordination, the project achieved LEED Gold Certification for Commercial Interiors.
