In 2019, Avison Young partnered with TheraCare to provide construction project management services for the interior fit out of their new school location at 11‐20 46th Road, Long Island City, NY, that serves students ages 5‐12 years with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and preschool age and birth‐to‐three‐year‐old children with special needs. The fit-out includes the construction of infant/toddler, preschool and school‐age classrooms, offices, a multi‐purpose/assembly space, an indoor sensory gym, and an outdoor play area. Avison Young's services for TheraCare extend from managing all preconstruction and planning services, through construction and move-in.
