Nick Boertien specializes in the sale and leasing of retail and office sectors within Waterloo Region and Wellington markets. His wealth of knowledge and experience allows Nick to provide each project and client with methodical, strategic solutions for well informed decisions. In 2017, Nick became a Senior Vice President and Principal of Avison Young and since has assisted in leading the Southwestern Ontario office through growth with a key focus on mentoring and business development. During his career, Nick has become a well recognized and respected leader within the commercial real estate industry.

Nick entered the commercial real estate industry in 2005 where he managed the leasing portfolio of properties throughout Southwestern Ontario for one of Canada's largest developers. Nick quickly became passionate to develop efficient strategies in order to best address the needs of each client.
